BN-336 Hummingbird Heart

I was watching my hummingbirds at a feeder I maintain & noticed a half a heart shape while they hovered. I sketched & played with the the design which resulted in my hummingbird heart. The hummingbird heart is amazing, when in their torpid state it is as low as 50 heartbeats per minute. When they fly & forage their heart rate soars to an amazing 1,250 heartbeats per minute
